2002 MUG Conference
Welcome to the August 2002 momsoftware e-news. In this special MUG edition we have an update about the MOM users group which is taking place this October in Fremont. The 2002 MUG Registration booklets have been mailed (although if you can't wait you can register online here at www.momsoftware.com). Be sure to visit the site and explore the conference area. There you'll find all the information your need to plan your trip to the Fund Accounting event of the year! The annual conference is the best place to gather with CWS staff and fellow clients to obtain the latest on MOM software features and enhancements.

When making reservations at the Marriott Hotel (to either the toll free number or the direct hotel line) be sure to state that you are with the CORBIN WILLITS group. This will help alleve the problem presented in properly identifiying the group to the reservation system. Do not refer to MUG, MOM or MOMsoftware to Make reservations.

CWS Services

If you are caught in a bind with a transition or loss of key personnel, CWS may be able to help you fill in the gap on an individual and temporary basis. Call Norm Hodgson at CWS for further details or go to the CWS site and click on the services link to learn more about these exciting and useful additions to MOM software.

Support Options

Support options for clients range from our traditional telephone support to our online support available via E-mail. Be sure to concisely state your problem including the module and the content of any error messages. Send these messages to: support@momsoftware.com.

MOM Help System

Our clients have often wondered where the "manual" is for MOM. Well, because the CWS system is constantly evolving, printed manuals became outdated faster then they could be shipped from the print shop. A few years ago CWS decided to move to an online manual which is available from the 'help' button on the MOM menu bar. The MOM help manual is a comprehensive searchable database of nearly every option present in the MOM system. It covers nearly all of the MOM screens with subjects that are cross referenced to other help files to provide the "answer" you are looking for the majority of the time. Give it a try, it might solve your problems before they begin to 'Bug' you.

CWS Insiders

We would like to welcome Geri Eastland to the MOM software staff, a native San Franciscan Geri enjoys league bowling. She has two grown sons and thoroughly enjoys her three grand children (with another on the way).
