As you prepare your budget for the coming fiscal year, make sure you leave room for this important conference. Tax Table Update MOM software clients using the Payroll Module (SP) are now receiving calls from the CWS support team to upload and install the new tax tables issued by the IRS. This is in response to the recently enacted Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003 enacted by Congress and signed by the President. Once installed you they will be implimented on your next scheduled payroll, the new tax rates will be in effect through 2004. CWS WebPay New Product Announcement CWS is pleased to announce CWS WebPay. A secure credit card payment processing system which is fully integrated into CWS's MOM software fund accounting system. Completely and transparently updating the General Ledger module in near real time as clients access and pay their bills online over the internet. This total integration with the accounting in MOM software truly separates our WebPay process from the other internet payment systems available today. Call our sales department for more information and join a host of clients already lining up for this exciting new service. Utility Billing (and any other payments you care to take) will automatically be processed and credited to the clients online accounts. The CWS WebPay process uses the advanced programming tools available in the PVX 5 programming language, for more about the importance of PVX version 5 read below. Window XP PVX and MOM Software All clients upgrading to any version of Windows XP must factor in the additional cost related to upgrading the PVX programming license required to run MOM. The next release of MOM Software is integrated with the new features in PVX 5 and like Windows XP will require users upgrade to PVX 5 to run. Call our sales department to find out the various options available in upgrading PVX. CWS Interim Finance Direction Services If you are caught in a bind with a transition or loss of key personnel, CWS may be able to help you fill in the gap on an individual and temporary basis through our Interim Finance Direction program Call Norm Hodgson at CWS for further details about this exciting addition to MOM software. Accredited Course work in Fund Accounting CWS has teamed with CSUH to provide accredited (C.E.U.) courses in the Theory of Fund Accounting and Application of Software Systems. Concepts covered will include introduction to the Theory of Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, ledger management and basic reporting concepts. The three quarter long courses will be presented on-line over the internet with full access to professors via email and to other students via live chat. Each quarter will last nine weeks with exams, midterm and final. Passing students will earn C.E.U. credit from California State University which is transferable to other institutions and applicable toward a degree program. Books and related materials are available thru CWS. To register for the course please contact Mike Fay at CWS. Costs per class are $1175.00 per each student enrolled for credit.
